The Flat Rate Scheme was the first of its kind to be introduced, its sole purpose is to benefit the breeder by costing the complete breeding program of the mare. This scheme has been widely utilised by the majority of the mare owners visiting Scarvagh/Sandley Stallions. It is a non-profitable exercise designed to provide the owner with a high quality service at a fixed price.
The Flat Rate Scheme is based on 4 main components:
The fees will vary, depending on owner location and whether the mare is barren, has a foal at foot and/or requires foaling at stud. The FRS's start at £500 (+VAT).
