Welcome to Scarvagh House Stud for our Fourth Annual Select Farm Sale of 2008

The Scarvagh House Select Sale has once again expanded to offer purchasers even more choice. After the success that was the Sale of 2007, the first of its kind featuring 2 and 3 year old store horses, the catalogue has once again been extended to offer a selection of yearling geldings and broodmares on top of the young stores.

On top of an extensive catalogue that we hope can satisfy everyone’s demands, the Sale includes the Initiative Scheme, a unique and highly popular feature of previous Scarvagh House sales, which will once again be a main ingredient. The following bonuses will all be offered:

1). Any three year old (born 2005) in this sale that wins a point-to-point in the United Kingdom or Ireland as a 4 year-old will automatically receive a bonus of £1,000.

2). Any three year old (born 2005) in this sale that wins a ‘bumper’ as a 4 year-old will automatically receive a bonus of £5,000.

3). Any broodmare bought, who produces a filly foal in 2009, is entitled to a free return to the same stallion, or another stallion of the same price on the Scarvagh roster.

The bonus will go to the purchaser of the horse on the day the horse was sold at Scarvagh House Stud.

Our aim at Scarvagh is to meet the demands that our clients bring to us, and therefore it is a pleasure to be able to offer such a variety of horses in our Sale. As is a consistent principle at Scarvagh House, we believe there really is something for everyone!
