Black Sam’s First Classic Winner..

Black Sam Bellamy’s ever improving son Valdino scorched to a six Length triumph in the German St Leger Gr.3 at Dortmund. Sent of the 7/4 favourite for the race, he joined the leaders 2 furlongs out and strode away to a convincing victory. The winner of 2 listed events by a combined total of 10 lengths he is a young horse with an abundance of talent.

Valdino is from the first crop of Black Sam Bellamy and illustrates popular opinion that his progeny will improve with age. The future race career of Valdino is uncertain but with many rich, stamina laden races throughout Europe the future is very bright for this young and exciting horse.
